The stone carving "the Naturalization of the Red Miao" 紅苗歸化圖石刻 from the Qing dynasty is located on the west wall of the north gate of the Main Hall of the Dace'en Temple in Xi'an, Shaanxi. It is 2.4 metres long and 0.86 metres wide, depicts a mountain path and the Qing officials travelling in ceremonial procession, the Red Miao kneeling to accept the surrender scene. The figures are on horseback and on foot, greeted by drums and music. The stone is broken into several pieces
